The Evansville Police Department is a Registered Agent for the Department of Motor Vehicles

MOTOR VEHICLE REGISTRATION

The Evansville Police Department continues as an authorized partner of the Department of Motor Vehicles. EPD staff can provide title, registration and/or registration renewal services for walk-in customers. Plates and/or sticker are given to the customer upon completing the transaction. Titles are printed and mailed from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. There is a fee for these services which are available Monday – Saturday from 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

To renew your license plates:
  • Bring your driver’s license for identification purposes
  • Your plate number or the post card you received from the Wisconsin Department of Motor vehicles the mail
  • Cash or check. We not accept credit cards.
To register a vehicle:
  • Bring your driver’s license for identification purposes
  • Bring your vehicle Title
  • Cash or check. We not accept credit cards.
