Brush and Yard Waste

As a service to our residents, the city public works department collects brush and yard waste during the first full week every month (next, May 5-9).

Brush should be cut to 8-foot lengths and laid on the terrace parallel (lengthwise) to the curb.

Yard waste (leaves, clippings, etc) must be bagged or in containers.  Materials placed in the street have a tendency to clog stormwater drainage and cause flooding; please keep brush and yard waste on the terrace.

For those that prefer to haul their own brush, the City Dump on Water Street is available on Wednesdays from 5 to 7 and Saturdays from 9 to 2:30.

Associated Appraisal Consultants, Inc. now has property assessment information available on their website.  Click on Property Search, then select Rock County, then City of Evansville.

You can search by either Tax ID Number or Property Address.  If it has trouble finding your address, try providing less information.  For example: type just Main instead of West Main Street or try just your house number without the street.
