The City of Evansville and local sponsors are proud to team up this spring to offer T-Ball (*4-6 yrs.), Coach Pitch (*6-9 yrs.). Because of COVID-19 restrictions, the league may look slightly different from previous years but we are excited to be back on the field!
Our baseball leagues are non-competitive and players will learn teamwork and the basics of the sport: throwing, hitting, catching and base running. Coach Pitch players will continue to work on all aspects of the game, improving their skills while beginning to hit pitches thrown by their coach. Team size is limited to 10 players. The team’s volunteer head coach determines each team’s practice day and time.
Coach Pitch Baseball practices and games will take place at Lake Leota Lower Diamond. T-Ball will take place at Countyside Park, NEW THIS YEAR, with the possibility of games at Lake Leota Lower Diamond. Because of field limitations, practices will be scheduled Monday-Thursday evenings beginning at 5:45/6:30 and last 45-minutes. If your player requires a specific practice time we encourage you to volunteer to coach. All requests (coach/friend/special requests) are considered but CANNOT be guaranteed.

We need volunteers! In years past we have had just enough volunteers to run this program. With the Covid-19 pandemic our fear is that we will receive even less who are willing/able to help run this program. Please consider volunteering in one of the following ways:
Our goal has always been to provide a league embracing diversity and inclusion. Our program has been largely effective because of the generosity of our sponsors such as yourself. Thanks to the support of our community and sponsors we were able to offer registration costs for as little as $10.00/player- which included; t-shirt, hat, and both team and individual photos! This program starts with our wonderful sponsors.
