arts. Internationally acclaimed impressionist painter Theodore
Robinson (shown right) lived with his family in Evansville
from age 4 until leaving for the Chicago Art Institute in

UB&T's free Concerts on Lake Leota
provide live entertainment under the stars and in the peaceful
setting of Leota Park. Details of the 2008 series will be available in early June.
Many circus companies
set up their tents permanently right here in Evansville
during the mid to late 1800s! The Magee Opera House, also
built during this time, presented musical entertainment
