Weight Room

 

A full service weight and exercise facility, located in the Evansville High School, is open for residents' use free of charge. Dale Schultz is the school's director of strength & conditioning, and he has a sign-up sheet for volunteer supervisors to keep the facility open.

Monday thru Thursday:
5:30 - 7:00 am & 5:00 - 8:30 pm
Friday:
5:30 - 7:00 am only
Saturday:

10:00 am - noon

Sunday:
4:00 - 6:00 pm

 

Enter through the door on the northwest side of the high school. No locker or shower facilities are available. Come dressed in appropriate gym attire.

 

The weight room cardiovascular equipment includes a treadmill, stairmaster, 2 elliptical trainers, 2 recumbent bikes, and an air-dyne style bike. An abundance of free weights, hammer equipment, pin-select machines, as well as two platforms with bumper plates for olympic style weightlifting are also available.

 

There is NO supervision for young children at the facility; please do not bring them. For hours when school is closed, during summer and holiday breaks, please contact the director at: dale.schulz@charter.net. Donations to assist in keeping the facility open to the community are welcome.
