Our Website.
The Evansville Community Partnership formed in
May of 2000. ECP was created to give citizens an opportunity to
participate in building an economically and socially sound, vibrant
future for our community and its residents. Our organization offers
volunteers a chance to be part of creative problem solving in
the Evansville area. Membership is free! All we ask is that our
partners help in our fundraising events and attend our monthly
ECP meeting. Our meetings are held the second Wednesday of each
month at 7:00 pm at the new ECP and Chamber of Commerce office
at 8 W. Main St.Ê ECP not only offers volunteers a chance to be
active here in our community, but offers everyone a chance to
meet and make some new friends while doing good deeds. Call our
office at 882-0598 or e-mail us at ecpi@eishome.com.
Office hours are Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 AM to
2 PM. Please stop in and see us!

AUDITION NOTICE
Local actors are sought for a home-grown project inspired by the history of the Leota School for Girls. SCHOOL FOR GIRLS is a new play designed to be performed inside the Queen Anne home on South First Street which was the site of the boarding school through the first half of the 20th century. Auditions will be held Sunday and Monday, May 6th and 7th, or by appointment. Four adults are sought, a man and woman, both in their 60's or so, and a man and woman in their late 20's or early 30's. Also needed are 4-6 girls, ages, 14-17. Rehearsals will begin in June. Four performances will be held in the home in mid-July.
SCHOOL FOR GIRLS was written and will be directed by local resident Susan Finque. It is a project of the Evansville Community Partnership and has financial support from the Historic Preservation Society and numerous individual donors. Please contact Susan Finque at 882-0740 to learn more about the project, or to arrange an audition.
